You can also connect the dock to your USB 3.0 laptop through a USB-A port, using a USB-C to A cable, such as the USB315AC1M (sold separately). Note: Power Delivery to charge your laptop is not available through USB-A, and only dual display is supported.

However, the StarTech.com MAC Address Changer or Cloning software enables the USB-C dock to use MAC address spoofing of the connected Windows laptop rather than the MAC address of the dock itself.
